| Soft light falls across the place where she lay, Sleepy whisps of breath silenty escaping from her lips, Her chest rising and falling in syncopated rhythm To the sweet dreams of a far off place dancing gayly in her mind. Moonbeams bathe her face in ethereal light, The sweet innocence of love in her slowly flickering eyelids. Blissfully unaware of the world as it spins around her, Eons removed from the chaos outside her dreamworld. Stars, twinkling as diamonds caress her innocence. The beauty of the night sky, paling as it does beside her Courses on about its daily trek. The planets move gracefully over her while she sleeps. She is beauty, love and light. She is innocense, gentleness and grace. She is tenderness, peace and love. She sleeps while the universe continues. And when she awakens from her rest, The universe around her sings with resolute joy. |
