Burst of light
Dreams and visions
Pierce the night
Roar and rumble
Blinding glare
Haunting image
Fills the air
Sounding fury
Blazing sweep
Shear apart
Time-drops of sleep
Tossing, turning,
Cold, then warm,
Victim of
The raging storm
Evening trembles
Midnight sweat
Thunder, lightning,
Bold and wet.
Fitful sleep
Awaiting dawn
Night storm rage
Here, then gone.
