Dream Catcher

The legend says it's Magic,
And oft' as Magic seems,
The secret's in the stopping
Or letting go of dreams.

They say it stops the bad ones
And holds them for the day
When morning's light destroys them;
And burns them all away.

The good dreams, say the legends,
Are saved to come back when,
Returned from their safe keeping
They fill your nights again.

I have a special dream
That comes to me each night.
It finds you in my arms
Holding, ever tight.

This dream that comes so often,
Returned to me, to love,
Reminds me of my treasure
My dream sent from above.

And so my special dream waits,
Trapped 'til it's return,
Fills day's anticipation
Of Your sweet night's return.
