I’m the King (Uh – huh, Oh Yeah) by David Roth © 5th March, 2005 Dedicated to Henry The Regal looking all gray Long hair Maine Coone Who KNOWS He is the King of the Castle
I’m the King of the Castle and it’s plain to see That everyone knows and stands in awe of me There is deep admiration as I roam the place, You can see the devotion etched on every face. I’m the King, uh-huh, oh yeah, it’s true I’m the King uh-huh, oh yeah.
I get up every morning and I strut around, And they worship my footfall like its holy ground, Snapping to every instance of my beck and call, When I sit in their presence on their faces they fall I’m the King, uh-huh, oh yeah, it’s true, I’m the King uh-huh, oh yeah.
The morsels they bring me are beyond the best And they know I’m a Regal cut above the rest, But I mostly ignore them as if they’re not there, In the presence of me the others can’t compare, I’m the King, uh-huh, oh yeah, it’s true, I’m the King uh-huh, oh yeah.
I don’t lounge, I recline, in majestic show, I’m a regal, imperial cat, you know, And the peasants come calling, their devotions bring, I pretend I don’t see them, after all, I’m King! I’m the King, uh-huh, oh yeah, it’s true, I’m the King uh-huh, oh yeah. |

Leave Me Alone By David Roth © 5th March, 2005 Dedicated to Emmy Who just wants to be Left alone.
Leave me alone, Leave me alone, Go away, get away, answer the phone, Try doing anything, don’t make me groan, Please, just avoid me and leave me alone.
You all think I’m grumpy, it just isn’t that, You clearly don’t fathom the mind of a cat, I like being lazy, I like being fat, Just leave me alone and let’s leave it at that.
The mind of a feline you can’t comprehend, I’ve tried to give clues, subtle messages send, But no matter what, it’s the same in the end, Just leave me alone, then maybe you’ll be my friend.
It’s not that I’m arrogant, evil or shy, I just like my solitude, don’t ask me why, So stop with the pouting, away with the cry, Just leave me alone, go away, say goodbye.
Leave me alone, Leave me alone, Go away, get away, answer the phone, Try doing anything, don’t make me groan, Please, just avoid me and leave me alone. |

I’m Cute, I’m Cute, I’m Cute By David Roth © 5th March, 2005 Dedicated to Ms Skittle The Fur ball who adopted me.
There you sit Proud as you can be Atop the pile that used to be A roll of toilet paper Smiling, in that ‘cat’ sort of way That says to all the world, It’s OK because I’m Cute, I’m Cute, I’m Cute!
There you are That look of sweet innocence on your face Next to the puddle of water Pile of broken glass And newly created field of flower petals Scattered across the floor Face that says to all who see, It’s OK because I’m Cute, I’m Cute, I’m Cute |

There you are Tufts of fur lying all around the room The other cats glaring at you From behind their missing tufts of fur And you, blinking back in wonder With that look that still says It’s OK because, I’m cute, I’m Cute, I’m Cute.
Basket lying on its side, Freshly folded and ironed clothing Is a sort of crumpled pile You, curled up in a sweet little ball On top of it all Batting your eyes at me With that look of yours that says It’s OK because I’m Cute, I’m Cute, I’m Cute |
