Beautiful Netherlands
Here are photographs of some of the beautiful places I visited while living in the Netherlands
This canal scene is in Amsterdam.  On the right, although you can't see it, is the Anne Frank House.
This was shot the Sunday after Christmas, 2001 in Heemstede, just after sunrise,  when we took the children sledding.
The three photos above were taken in Delft (home of the famous Delft Blue china).  Note the cobblestone pavement so prevalent in Holland, and the bicycles, the most common means of transportation over there.  The close-ups are of Het Prinsenhof, a museum commemorating Willem of Orange, of the Royale House of Orange, which still holds the throne of the Netherlands today, with Koningin Beatrice, and the Royal heir, Prince Willem Alexander.
This is the fishing village of Volendam
Zandvoort Beach on the Noord Zee (North Sea)

This was shot in the gift shop of a small farm near Uithoorn where Gouds Kaas (Gouda Cheese) is made.  You can see in addition to the tourist trinkets, wheels of the delightful cheese on the shelves behind the 'jonge meisje' (young girl) at the counter.
